Cancellation Policy

We are grateful that you have chosen Neinstein Plastic Surgery, and we are committed to ensuring the best experience and outcomes possible for all our patients. To that end, it’s important to understand that when forgetting or cancelling appointments without giving enough notice, we lose the opportunity to assist patients in reaching their goals, and other patients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services.

For the benefit and respect of all our patients and professionals, appointments are subject to the following terms:

  • You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime 48 hours preceding the start time of your appointment.
  • Dr. Ryan Neinstein’s consultation fee is $500 collected at the time of booking. Less than 48 hours’ notice is considered a “Late Cancellation” and will result in an additional $500 cancellation fee. All other surgeons and providers are subject to a $250 cancellation fee. If a credit card is used for the consultation fee or the cancellation fee, there is an additional 3% fee.
  • If you do not cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show” and will be charged an additional $500 cancellation fee. This is applicable towards patients of Dr. Ryan Neinstein. All other surgeons and providers are subject to a $250 no show fee. All credit card payments are subject to a 3% fee.
  • Appointments that are booked within the 48-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy

In addition, surgery scheduling requires careful planning and coordination. Special medical instrumentation is prepared and sterilized for each individual procedure and our expert staff is brought in to care for you.

For our surgical patients, bookings are subject to the following terms:

  • At the time of booking you will be asked for a $1000 non-refundable deposit.
  • The full payment must be cleared one week before surgery (cash, credit card, financing, wire transfer or certified check). Cancellation within 7 days will result in a 50% loss of all fees. Cancellation within 24 hours will result in all loss of fees.
  • For all surgical procedures, we are now required by law to obtain a COVID-19 PCR swab test. The COVID PCR swab test must be performed within 5 to 3 days of your surgery, and we must receive a negative result before we can proceed with the procedure. Some procedures also require additional bloodwork or medical tests prior to the procedure to ensure patient safety. Failure to obtain the tests and/or a delay in test results will lead to cancellation of the procedure.  Since surgery involves careful coordination of medical staff, anesthesia, devices and other equipment, cancellations due to COVID testing or preoperative labs and medical workup will result in a $1,500 fee.
