What are your “5 Things You Need To Create A Successful Career As A Plastic Surgeon” and why?

1. Putting Patients First: It is an incredible amount of trust to allow someone to operate on you. As surgeons, we need toreward this trust with a steadfast devotion to our patients and their wellbeing. Sometimes this means middle of the night phone calls to talk through an issue, or going into the office on a Saturday because a patient has a concern and
   seeing them is the right thing to do. The patient is at the center of everything that we do as surgeons and while we all have lives outside of work, that is a calling that we must be willing to accept.
