Dr. Daniel Lara brings a unique combination of world-class surgical training, scientific rigor, and multicultural perspective to Neinstein Plastic Surgery. Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, Dr. Lara’s journey has taken him through some of the most respected medical institutions in the world, ultimately shaping a philosophy centered on personalized care, precision, and natural, elegant results.

After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Lara completed his undergraduate training at MD Anderson Cancer Center, conducted genetics research at Massachusetts General Hospital, earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine, and completed one of the nation’s most rigorous integrated plastic surgery residencies at Cleveland Clinic, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Lara developed expertise across the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery — including microsurgery, breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, and aesthetic surgery. His passion ultimately led him to aesthetic breast and body surgery, where he found the perfect blend of science, artistry, and patient transformation.

At Neinstein Plastic Surgery, Dr. Lara specializes in body contouring, abdominoplasty, mommy makeover surgery, aesthetic breast surgery, and advanced liposuction techniques. He is particularly passionate about helping patients restore confidence after pregnancy, weight changes, or major life transitions.
