Hi Dr Neinstein,
I am so thankful to NPS and the practice you’ve built. My surgery was the best decision I ever made in my life and I hope I can help anyone who has questions or is considering surgery. I will always be an advocate for NPS!!
I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life, joining Weight Watchers at just 12 years old. I never imagined considering plastic surgery. The idea of transforming my body seemed out of reach. But after losing 90 pounds through determination, Wegovy, and discovering a love of fitness, I realized I was ready to reclaim my body and confidence.
After the weight loss, combined with two rounds of IVF, two pregnancies, and two C-sections, I was left with a lot of loose skin. While I could hide it with clothes, I wanted to proudly show off my healthy body for the first time.
When I started researching mommy makeovers, I felt overwhelmed. The websites were full of clinical descriptions and before-and-after photos, but there was little emotional connection or advice. It felt like navigating the process alone. I went to consultations around central Jersey, but nothing felt quite right. That’s when I reached out to a friend on Facebook who had been a patient at Neinstein Plastic Surgery (NPS).
From the moment I booked my virtual consultation with NPS, I knew this was different. I’d already been to multiple consultations, but none felt as warm, thorough, or professional as NPS. The team took the time to listen to my goals, my story, and my vision for the future. They didn’t just see me as a patient—they saw me as a person. That immediate care and attention put me at ease.
At my very first consultation, I said out loud that I wanted 2025 to be the year I wore a bikini for the first time in my life. Saying it felt bold—almost unrealistic. But the NPS team never doubted it. They believed in the vision right along with me.
The NPS team recommended a circumferential tummy tuck—something no other provider had brought up. After all my research and consultations, it was clear this approach would best address my concerns. When I circled back to previous consults and asked why they hadn’t suggested it, I realized many didn’t even perform the procedure and had actually recommended NPS for it. That level of insight and transparency gave me the confidence I was in the right hands.
Choosing a surgeon isn’t just about credentials—it’s about trust, communication, and connection. I needed a practice that would answer my questions, calm my nerves, and genuinely care. NPS’s commitment to all of that made the decision easy.
What stood out most to me about NPS was their culture of compassion. Every single team member—from the front desk to the surgical staff—treated me with kindness and respect. They understood the emotional weight of this journey and supported me through every phase, physically and mentally.
After working closely with my coordinator Bella and understanding the incredible aftercare at NPS, I scheduled my surgery for December, giving myself time to recover. Bella and the team took multiple calls with me to address my nerves, and whenever I was in NYC for work, I’d stop by the office—where that sense of community was always present.
One of the most unexpected gifts of working with NPS was the network of women who had been through similar transformations. That sisterhood turned what could’ve been a scary, isolating process into an empowering and uplifting experience. Their shared stories gave me strength—and now, I hope to do the same for others.
The day of surgery came with a mix of excitement and nerves, but the NPS staff made all the difference. From helping me get settled to answering last-minute questions, they reassured me every step of the way. Even my husband felt supported, which created a sense of calm for both of us. I got to choose the music I fell asleep to, and I even remember laughing at one of Randy’s dad jokes just before drifting off.
When I woke up in recovery—what felt like five minutes but was actually over seven hours—I was greeted by the smiling NPS and Radiant Recovery nurses. The team was thrilled with how everything went. As someone who works out daily, I was amazed to hear my abs were already visible under the loose skin—and I didn’t need as much liposuction because I had very little fat left.
Back at the Sonesta, my recovery nurse Gianna had everything perfectly prepared so I could focus on healing. Even when I felt a little nauseous, the team quickly adjusted my medications and checked in regularly. And when I needed supplies but didn’t want my husband to leave my side, Mitch had them couriered to my hotel—along with a sweet surprise gift. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and I’ll never forget it.
Now, 7.5 months post-op, I can honestly say: my dreams came true. I did exactly what I set out to do—wear a bikini in 2025—and not just one. My closet is now overflowing with sexy bikinis, and shopping for clothes has become fun again. I feel confident, feminine, and excited to get dressed every day.
Every single morning, I wake up thrilled and grateful for the decision I made. My results exceeded my expectations, and my confidence is at an all-time high. I finally feel aligned with the version of myself I worked so hard to become. And as someone who works out daily, having a fully repaired, functional core has been life-changing—engaging my abs during a workout now feels strong, powerful, and pain-free for the first time in years
This journey has taught me that investing in yourself is not selfish—it’s life-changing. Losing 90 pounds was a major milestone, but completing the transformation with body contouring has allowed me to truly step into my new life. It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about reclaiming your identity and finally feeling at home in your body.
The NPS team gets that. Their dedication, warmth, and expertise set them apart. If you’re considering plastic surgery, my advice is this: Don’t settle. Choose a team that sees you, hears you, and walks with you every step of the way. For me, that was NPS.
