Patient Story: My Experience with Neinstein Plastic Surgery

My Experience with Neinstein Plastic Surger

Dear Dr. Neinstein,

What a beautiful practice you have built! From the moment I made my
first phone call to NPS, I knew I was on the right track. It can be
intimidating to call a plastic surgeon in NYC when you are from a
small town in a neighboring state. I believe Tasha was my first
contact. She assured me on every level and helped set up my
consultation with Dr. Chris. I just had a good feeling when I met
with Dr. Chris virtually and I went ahead and scheduled my surgery for
November 3rd.

I am now one month out from surgery, and I will never look back.
My life will forever be the time before and the time after November
3rd. I have a totally new lease on my life. I feel and look so much
better. Clothes that I thought I could never wear are now in my
rotation again.

I had PAH in my upper and lower abdomen from CoolSculpting and it
was a bad case. Before my surgery, strangers asked me when I was
“due.” All my clothes were cover-ups in one form or
another…oversized, XL, swing dresses were my go-to. I hated looking
in the mirror. I work for a local television station, and I could no
longer stand to see myself on-camera. I love what I do but I hated
how I looked.

I am so grateful I found your practice.

The day of my surgery, I met with Emilie, who was extremely sweet,
comforting, and knowledgeable as we went through my intake
information, photos, and what to expect as I entered surgery. Dr.
Bruno, my anesthesiologist, also talked with me before the surgery and
calmed my fears.

When Dr. Chris came in, I bonded with him immediately as I knew my
fate was in his capable hands. I watched as he marked me for surgery.
He was like a body savant, making sure the marks were precisely where
he wanted them. I felt like he could see what my body should look
like without my extended abdomen, as if my body was calling him to
sculpt me.

Waking up in recovery, Nurse Ashley was amazing. I was a little
confused and she was so soothing and reassuring. Dr. Chris came by
and said I was a rock star and I thought he said I got the Bronze
Star, so we all had a laugh at that.

Ciara, from Elite Private Recovery, was my nurse who came to your
office to help me get to my hotel. She is a true angel. She knows
this process inside and out and could read every nuanced situation.
Could my husband and I have managed without her? Maybe, but it would
have been tough. She got me into my hotel room, she knows all the
doormen, got me comfortably in bed and cared for me like only a mother
could. Once I was settled, she took so much time with my husband to
educate him on my aftercare. He was a good student, and it simply
made my recovery so much easier.

I have never met so many kind people as I have through your office
in the weeks after my surgery. This is what I mean when I say you
have built such a beautiful practice. I see this as a reflection of
how you treat everyone who works with you and for you, as this is the
standard that you set for the vibe in your office. I have had
emails, texts and phone conversations with Olympia, Jessica, Nurse
Tara and Nurse Chloe, and with each one of them, I felt like mine was
the only case they were working on (though I realize how very busy you
all are.) Their kindness, attention to detail and follow-up is
unmatched.
